Coming home

Last week's parasha, Lech-Lecha, began with Hashem’s words to Avraham Avinu: "Go forth from your land… to the land that I will show you.” It’s a call to leave the familiar behind and step towards something greater, a new beginning filled with faith and promise.

Our own Lech-Lecha began 20 years ago when we chose to move to Israel. Like Avraham, we didn’t know exactly what awaited us. We knew that it would not be easy and that there would be ups and downs.
We knew at the time that for our family it didn't make logical sense to pick up our family and leave everything that was familiar to us behind.

But deep down we felt the pull to COME HOME and knew that this is where we were meant to be. 

We are so grateful for:
Each day here is a blessing
Each step is a reminder of Hashem’s guidance
Each sunset is a gift
Each stone tells a story of generations
Each chag fills the air with joy
Each act of chessed strengthens us
Each home built here adds a layer to Am Yisrael's story
And each moment here reminds us that we are a living in miraculous times.

Moving to Israel has given us the freedom to shape our lives in a way that has been so fulfilling, filled with purpose, community, and connection.

The beauty of this land surrounds us from the views outside our window to our family, friends an visitors who fill our home. 

You too can choose to make Israel your home and create a life filled with meaning and beauty in our home land.

I love opening the sliding doors to my garden with scents of fresh herbs while sitting under our lemon tree.

I see the same joy in my clients who step out onto their balcony in Ashkelon with breathtaking views of the marina and the Mediterranean. Or my friend who lives in the Old City, just steps away from the kotel. And soon, a client will receive thier keys to their penthouse apartment overlooking the Jerusalem hills.
